The
Beatrice Itubo led faction of the Nigerian Labour Congress in Rivers State has
picketed the offices of the Portharcourt Electricity Distribution
Company.
Speaking to newsmen factional NLC chairman, Beatrice Itubo said
the picketing is a directive from the national congress to express its
displeasure over the increase in electricity tariff.
She however said the picketing
will only hold today as it is just a warning to get the Distribution to
dialogue with the labour union.
